i ran recuva, and had alot of old files...
i did a gutman wipe with ccleaner, and a clear white space.
when i went back into recuva, all the files were still there... surely this defeats the purpose of ccleaner?
or is there something i'm missing here?
thanks
does recuva undo ccleaners wipes?

Did you actually open the files you recovered?

1. The files may still list as "existing" but the shouldn't be recuva-able.
2. Just to narrow down the info for the devs:
Are saying that the thumbnail is viewable in the recuva preview, or that the file is listed?
Can you also recover the file and see if it will open in you image application.
Also list the ccleaner, recuva and windows version you are running.
