I know nothing about html5. It will make Flash, Java and Silverlight obsolete, they say. Can't wait! :lol: I would like to know more about this new system. If you have any knowledge, articles, rumors or such, please feel free to post! Wikipedia about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML_5

It won't make Java/Flash/SL obsolete.
There'll be <video> and <audio>. But Silverlight's Smooth Streaming is better.

Blast! :P I'd just gotten my hopes up. Wiki say's it will become obsolete...

And yes, Silverlight is not the worst thing that has happened. About time Flash got some competition.

Wiki's shouldn't include opinions like that especially on something that's not released.

Lesson of the day: Take every wiki with a truckload of salt, that goes for all statements on the web even this one ;-)
