I installed ccleaner on mum's ancient xp machine for the first time ever today. It has never been formatted for several years. The registry cleaner found 723 items to fix!

If you reboot and run CCleaner one more time don't be surprised if it will find a lot again. It usually does when it is run more than once. :D

Iv had a registry cleaner find about 3k before. Jogged it on tbh.

Are you going to check each 700 entrys? I doubt you will. Please make your you back up.

no i didnt check each one. I always make a point of making a backup whenever i use that feature :D Ill run ccleaner again after its yearly defrag!

I've just about memorized the registry items I keep CCleaner from removing.
