MBAM False Positive

MBAM scan showed 18 or 19 baddies, they seem to be false positives related to Avast!. When I deleted them, the Avast scanner wouldn't work, couldn't open the skin, but Avast would scan a folder from the right click menu.

edit: They are working on it even as we write.
The SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-)

The Avast guys say to just restore the files and keep going. Avast Forum

Long thread in False Positives at the MBAM forum about this. I'm trying database # 2886 (newest just put online)....okay! No more 19 trojans, reports clean. Good. :D

Confirmed #2886 doesn't detect anything in the Avast installation directory. :)
Complexity of incoherent design.
