Another Update Site?

Is there anyother updates site to install patches using mozilla firefox instead of IE as im trying to stop using IE and thats basically all it gets used for......

the site is in no way affiliated with microsoft so no guarentees can be made

I used it for the last patch Tuesday XP updates and everything went fine but as Mangix it is not official so no guarantee it will work. But you asked for another Another Update Site and for the time being WindizUpdate it the only one i now of currently available.

As Mangix already stated it isn't gauranteed.

People are too damned paranoid, so calm down use the Windows Genuine Advantage and get the updates from the official source Microsoft.

you mean Windows Update automatically downloads the stuff without the possibility of canceling it without killing the process?

think so... they said it will continue from the last point you lost your internet connection... i didnt use automatic update... i get the updates from windows update site...

I do get it from microsoft using the auto update feature....but i was only wondering if there was another 1 becoz thats all i use the IE browser for......

there is a firefox extension to view webpages in IE. in other words, activex in firefox
