Come on, I can't call you stupid, but welcome to Piriform all the same.
The Type Lib references are fine to delete as long as you follow the CCleaner dialogue and make a backup before you do so.
Any registry cleaning has it's inherent risks, which is why a backup is so important.
You should preferably make regular backups of your registry with a program called ERUNT. A life saver in many situations.

Restoring Issues Backup
Go to the folder where your Issues backup is located (default location is My Documents). The backup file will be something like this cc_20080818_230043. cc (CCleaner) 2008, 08, 18 (Year, Month, Day) 2300, 43 (Time/24 hour clock, Seconds). Right click on the file and click on Merge, you will be asked if you would like to add the information or not.
