hi ... im new here .. and i just want to ask about something regarding to your fabulous software
i have windows 7 RTM .. and after performing my regular cleaning with ccleaner ... i found that all my pinned items were removed
please tell me how to avoid it because i like this feature in w7 and its annoying to pin them again ... thanks a lot
ccleaner cleans my pinned items (please help)

Hi zlazeel, and welcome to Piriform.
If it was XP, I would suggest unchecking "User Assist History", but I have no idea if it's the same in Windows 7. Try it and see.
For what it's worth, I have the entire start menu populated with 24 pinned shortcuts, and to ensure they're not removed however CCleaner is set up, I right click the Start Menu, select "Properties\Customize" and I set the "Number of items on Start Menu" to 0.
But as I say, I'm not 100% sure with Windows 7.
Either way, I hope that helps.

thanks for the generous replay .. i looked for "User Assist History" and it is already unchecked ... as for the next suggestion its done and i like it
but the problem is with my pinned items on the "task bar" in windows 7 it goes after cleaning with ccleaner ... THANX

Ah, you didn't say that. Pinned items usually means the Start Menu.
This quicklaunch problem has appeared before, and it could possibly be the "Tray Notification Cache", or "Window Size/Location Cache"
Not too sure about that one, so maybe wait for some more input.
