CCleaner not cleaning Opera

I have installed CCleaner 2.23.999 on two computers that have both been upgraded to Opera 10 by installing over Opera 9.64.
When I run CCleaner to clean Opera, CCleaner only recognises Opera on one computer.
On the computer that CCleaner does not see Opera, the path is C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera\Opera 9\cache and C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Opera\Opera 9, whereas on the computer that CCleaner sees Opera, the path is C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera\Opera\cache and C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Opera\Opera
I don't think that CCleaner is seeing "Opera 9" in the path so can't clean it.
Can anyone else confirm this or is this something else wrong?
Thanks

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera\Opera\cache
and
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Opera\Opera
I'm puzzled why one Opera 10 install over Opera 9 resulted in the correctly named installation and one didn't?
Maybe on the Computer not being cleaned, Opera 10 has installed itself into it's own folder, not touching the Opera 9 install at all.
If I remember rightly Opera 10 would do that by default unless directed to the Opera 9 folder.
Just a thought, and maybe worth checking in Opera's Program Files folder.

On the computer not being cleaned Opera 10 is installed to C:\Program Files\Opera 9, which is the correct folder.
I think that when I first installed Opera it was Opera 9 and the installation file automatically created the path C:\Program Files\Opera 9 and I have since just ungraded Opera to this folder, and Opera has updated to all folders with "opera 9" in them.
On the computer being cleaned Opera 10 is installed to C:\Program Files\Opera which as you say is correct. If I remember correctly, I started with Opera 8 on that computer and it just installed to C:\Program Files\Opera
Hope this helps and can be fixed.
Thanks

I don't unfortunately think it's something that can be fixed, although I would be happy to be proved wrong, as CCleaner is now wired for a normal Opera Install.
I can't be sure as to whether simply renaming the folders by removing the space and the 9 in front of Opera would work for you, or whether you will have to do a complete uninstall of your Opera 9, and then a fresh install of Opera 10.
I would give it a try as any hiccup can be rectified by renaming them back again.
If the latter is the case, then it isn't a big deal, as I had to do just that after installing all the beta, RC and then the Final Opera 10 in the same folder. It retained the name Opera 10 beta after each new install.
If a new install is the only option, I will of course give you a list of the stuff to copy. In fact, I copy this stuff to a backup folder as a matter of course. You never know if and when you're Opera install may get screwed up.
It appears the folder renaming worked for Santo above.

I was thinking about removing the space and the 9 but I think it would mess up the uninstall routine which has "opera 9" in the log.
I don't mind doing a complete uninstall of Opera, and then a fresh install of Opera 10.
If you wouldn't mind, a list of stuff to copy and the correct uninstall procedure for Opera so that I can get rid of everything that has "opera 9" in it would be of great help.
Thanks

First I would check to make sure you have the Opera 10 File and Folder structure after your install into the Opera 9 folder, as it differs from Opera 9.

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera
Copy "Thumbnails" and "Icons" folders, which are your custom "Speed Dial Images" and "Favicons", and the "Mail" folder if you use Opera Mail.
-------------------------
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Opera\Opera
Copy the entire folder, which is only about 1.5mb. (EDIT: In my case)
From here you can copy back into the new install, things such as:
"bookmarks.adr", "notes.adr", "toolbar folder" if you have modified toolbars, "wand.dat" if you use the wand for log-ins, "speeddial.ini" if you have custom speeddials.
Your custom "Skins" may be here or in the Program Files folder. I place all mine in Program files, but I'm not sure which is the default.
-------------------------
C:\Program Files\Opera
From here I backup the "UI", "Skins", and "Styles" folders.
-------------------------
In the folder you keep these backups, I would place the various files and folders in subfolders with their respective names. "Application Data", Local Settings", and "Program Files".
-------------------------
That I think will cover any personalisations you made to Opera, and will give you a means of recovering just about everything in the event of any future problems.
One other thing I do is make an "HTML" backup of bookmarks, which you can make from within the opened browser, "File\Import and Export\Export Bookmarks As HTML". This file can usually be imported easily into other browsers.
This seems a lot to do, and some of the above would possibly be OK to leave, but to be sure of getting rid of the all the stuff tied to Opera 9, it's worth the effort, and it gives you a backup which you can update from time to time.
It was the only way I could find to completely get rid of my Opera 10 Beta install without having to start again setting up all my personalizations, and I have a lot.
Hope that helps.

Is there a chance that under the Opera cleaning options of CCleaner, that the cleaning of the "icons" folder could be added, which is C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera\Opera\icons
Thanks again

That would probably just stop them being created after you delete the folder. Never tried that, so not certain about it.
Alternatively, you can add that folder to CCleaners "Include" feature. Options\Include\Add Folder or Files.
You would need to check the "Custom Files And Folders" box in "CCleaner\Windows\Advanced", for the Include to work.
