it obviously downloads your files fast but does it diminish the quality of the video or mp3? there has to be a downside to this no?

Well I used Download Accelerator Plus when I used a modem it was great for downloading large files. I suppose you're on broadband or something similar therefore you shouldn't loose your connection. Using DAP won't increase your download speed its just convenient for modem users.

That's an old school adware supported download manager. I don't know if it still is or not, but from their past I wouldn't touch it.

I used it.Beware,the installer try to change your browser homepage to their homepage (speedbit.com and its blocked by hphost and yellow rated by siteadvisor).

Actually I used to use Download Accelerator Plus 5.3.9.6 because I like the way it operates and it never changed my home page. I've tried the newer versions and they are crap in comparison, plus I have the crack for it.
