For those of us who like portable apps and for those who like pre-alpha content here is FF3.7a1pre

Quote

For advanced testers, we also make available a portable version of Minefield,
which is a test build for some of the technologies that will appear in later versions of Firefox.
The Minefield Portable installer will automatically download the current trunk build of Minefield
from Mozilla's servers during installation. It will install to a FirefoxPortableMinefield dirctory alongside
your existing copy of Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition.
Warning: This is NOT A FINAL OR PRE-RELEASE VERSION. Bad things could happen.

One issue Ive noticed in both the 3.6 a1 and 3.7 a1pre is that if I make a new topic on this forum or a full reply
(instead of quick) I can not place the cursor anywhere I want.

EG: If a realize I need a space somewhere or misspelled something I can't use the mouse or the arrow keys to place the cursor back,
all I can do is backspace and retype it all. there is no flashing cursor.

I went back to 3.5.2 to post this (not that, that guarantees a perfectly spelled post, lol)

Well I've been using 3.7a1.pre for some time now. I was a bit confused when a split occurred, basically 3.6 and 3.7. Version 3.6 / 3.7 are indeed snappy, although I can hardly differentiate its performance with 3.5.

@fireryone
I didn't have experience any cursor bug you have experienced in using full reply.

Well I not sure what to blame then Tunerz

1. Shouldn't be my profile as 3.5 works fine and the 3.7 portable uses a new profile
2. I ran 3.6 in safe mode and still have the same problem...

Anyone have ideas on what could be conflicting....

I've also been using 3.7a1pre for some time now like Tunerz, and it is blazingly fast.
