I want to use a script to install CCleaner but I do not want the yahoo toolbar to be installed.

How can I automate installing ccleaner with out installing the yahoo.toolbar?

You'll need to download a build that doesn't include the toolbar. Those are the slim build, or the portable build. With the portable you could even make your own script installer for it. They can be found here:

What if Yahoo Toolbar has already been installed when the latest build was downloaded? How do I get rid of the toolbar now? It is not listed in Programs so I can't simply delete it and there is nothing connected with the toolbar itself (of course) to allow me to delete or to uninstall it.

If I download the regular CCleaner installer and install it without the Yahoo toolbar it's the same as if I downloaded and used the CCleaner slim version?

Thanks so much for your suggestion. Guess you can tell computers are not my forte. Have a great day!
