hi,

as there is no support offered by piriform.... anybody knows where to find the hash codes to the downloads of ccleaner? I'd like to verify the download, but I can't find no information about the hash codes (e.g. SHA1, which is sort of standard).

thanks very much,
karamba

Only place I've ever noticed that lists them is FileHippo.com, however they do that will all their downloads. Although it's a nice security feature to know the download is exactly as the server has you can also right click any installer from Piriform and view the VeriSign Digital Signature for validity.
Complexity of incoherent design.

hey andavari,

thanks for that, didnt notice it on filehippo before. some more people use hash codes anyway, but mostly websites of people who are concerned with security issues, and seldomly download portals or bigger sites (which should be the other way round though). thanks for the other tip as well, I'll try on that.
