Thanks, Abu Aufa. I'm tired of fooling with adobe. I have 2 questions, maybe you can help.
1. is Foxit an OK replacement for the adobe pdf reader?
2. What is an OK replacement for the flash viewer, which seems to show up uninvited a lot?

The SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-)

Foxit is VERY good and lightweight, and your second question, flash viewer? you mean flash player? There is silverlight, by Microsoft, but flash is more widely used.

fully agree what viennas said.Adobe bloated.

I agree, Adobe is humongously bloated. If Adobe made Notepad it'd be 10GB.

Thanks, Viennas. Yes, I did mean flash player. Reason for the question was some time wasted a while back trying to upgrade it.

OK now, but will keep looking for something else. Will give Foxit a run.
