i set my hp hdx16 with windows vista sp1 64 bit to defrag last night and i wake up this morning to find that i lost about 20 some gigs of hard drive space from 172 gigs down to 146 and my fragmentation percentage went up from about 29-30 to 40. why would this happen, any help would be appreciated.
