Hi,
when my Screensaver locks the Computer (on resume forces Password) then Defraggler won't shutdown the Computer when its task is finished. Defraggler waits with the shutdown until I try to LogIn.

Hi Gandalf.
I've never used the feature, but does the "Force Password" scenario prevent any unauthorized use of the PC until you've logged back on with the password?
I would guess someone or something, Defraggler in this case, trying to shutdown the computer without logging in with the password would constitute unauthorized access.
Just a guess of course, and maybe another member will have a different answer for you.

Hi,
maybe you are right. But for example Nero and a lot of other Tools can shutdow my pc while it is protected....
