hi guys im new to CCleaner and even that it isnt working for me! AARGH !
anyways everyone posting seems very nice and helpful so i thought i would give it a try and ask for some help. My first question is

1. does anyone know of a free program that can completley remove my internet viewing history? I mean everything ! I know that this is one thing that takes up A LOT of space on my PC

2. when i first double click my internet explorer instead of my normal homepage (comcast.net) i get google but at the very top where it says what site name is it says "wow >Microsoft Internet Explorer and i get a pop-up saying "for your internet accsess click "ok" " ALSO whenevr i click on a link when im offline instead of taking me to that link site it takes me directly to that home page

i know that there are quite a few people out there who are good with computers so if you could please help me out with this all help would be greatly appreciated

PS: when i try to open my CCleaner i click it and nothing happens is this normal?
PSS:i am not a computer admin. the admin refuses to log me on and doesnt know a damn thing about computers to fix it himself. so i am basically screwed on all downloads anyone know a cure for this?    :( :( :( :(

1. CCleaner already cleans out your internet history just make sure you have the corresponding box ticked.

2. I'm no expert but sound like spyware download this run and save a log file then upload it to this section and wait Tarun or rridgely will check it out and tell you what to do.

With you 3rd question what exactly are you clicking to open CCleaner a desktop shortcut or a start menu item?

Somethings wrong if Hijack This will not open. Run this online scan(Scan for spyware and virus) and remove everything it finds. Then reboot and see if hijack this will open.

Vanguard CCleaner will clean up IE's history and everything else that program does (It does look like a decent program though.) He is having problems because from what I can tell is malware. Englishmens right he needs to try to reinstall CCleaner and follow my links as well.

They are both having issues due to being VB6 applications. Search these forums and install the VB6 runtimes.
