C:\Program Files\F-Secure\common\Spool\Nrb316.tmp
CCleaner does not detect and remove tmp files generated by F-Secure (see above for example)
Is there a setting that I can change to enable this to happen?
With thanks

You can include a folder or specific file to be cleaned in the Include section (remember to tick Custom File in CCleaner/Advanced). If you include a folder then all files in that folder will go, no matter how vital or not they are.

Many thanks for your helpful reply Augeas
In the example I have quoted I may get 100 of such temp files generated each week by F-Secure. 'Clean up' will detect and remove them but not CCleaner
Is there anything that I can add to the include section that will remove all these files automatically or are you saying that I must do it manually for each file. If the latter I shall have to continue to use Clean up for these tmp files

You can either include individual files (if there is anything else in the folder you wish to keep), or specify the folder to wipe out the entire contents of the folder. Someone might have a tweak to just do *.tmp files, but it's not something that I've ever done.

Thanks again Augeas.
Looks like I have to use Clean up for these files and CCleaner for the rest

Dear Augeas
I have now monitored the folder C:\Program Files\F-Secure\common\Spool for a week or so
and all it ever contains is tmp files.
I have therefore followed your suggestion and added the folder to CCleaner for emptying and all is OK
Thanks for your help
