Using Vista home premium platform and IE 8
CCleaner is not deleting the history of websites visited from the address line drop down. I also can't get IE to delete them.
Is this a bug or is there no intention to delete history from the address line drop down?

Thank you.

If you mean the AutoComplete dropdown list that appears in the address bar:

IE8 > Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete Settings > Delete AutoComplete history > [select items to delete] > Delete

You can set "Use AutoComplete for" to not record these entries in the first place.

You are correct, I just didn't know it by that name.
How can I delete the ones already stored, even if I disable the future storing as you suggest?

Thanks! I was able to delete the browser history in the autocomplete dropdown and reset my autocomplete settings. That takes care of my problem whether or not CCleaner is designed to erase that info.

I appreciate it very much.
