I've used MRU Blaster for years now, even have it automatically start with Windows. It can't deal with the Past Notification Icons anymore though since XP SP2.

Complexity of incoherent design.

I made a batch file to run CC and MRU (XP only)

You can place this one in the "QuickLaunch"
for a one click power cleanup and shutdown.

CD C:\Program Files\MRU-Blaster
mrublaster.exe -silent
CD C:\Program Files\CCleaner
CCleaner.exe /AUTO /SHUTDOWN
