Delete files like this *.tmp using Ccleaner?

Hi,

How can I set up Ccleaner to delete files of this nature on all my hard drives?

*.tmp;*.temp;*.gid;*.chk;*.~*;*.bak;

Well, no.
CCleaner cleans specific places only.
But you might want to try Wise Disk Cleaner. (It has nothing to do with Piriform, CCleaner, Me, the forum or anybody in here. Try at your own risk.)

Thanks for the head up - I wasn't out to offend anyone or Ccleaner as I think it's great, it serves a terrific purpose to clean up the c**p.

Do you see a danger in deleting files of those type in general? If so, I would be keen to know. Thanks.

I wouldn't delete them if they're recent.

I don't use Wise Disk Cleaner right now, but back then when I used it I never had any problems.
You don't always gain much from deleting these files (that's why I stopped using it),
but it's useful to run a scan once in a while. ;)

Another good one is your uninstaller, It has a disk wipe.
