It's an excellent product! I just want to know whether it can achieve the following for me. I thought that, if I click on 'Recent Documents' in the 'What to Clean' section, this would remove something like the following: I have a website building programme, and when I click to open it, it shows a list of previously-opened versions of my website. One or two of these no longer are current, and confuse the issue. I want to wipe free this list. I set CCleaner to 'do this' but unless the result will appear only after a restart, or that I have something else I need to do, the list is still populated. Advice, please. Many thanks!
Deleting recently-opened files

Those files are more than likely stored in the registry. What is the name and version of the application?

What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) - it's a web-building programme I use. Currently I'm using their outgoing version 5.5 - with Windows XP and SP3
Many thaks!

So far I came across this registry key which holds all of your publiched locations (open and save)
HKCU\Software\Pablo Software Solutions\WYSIWYG Web Builder 5\Settings\PublishLocations
It can be added to a WinApp2.ini file and CC would remove all the items stored under that key. It would look something like this...

[WYSIWYG Web] LangSecRef=3023 Detect=Software\Pablo Software Solutions\WYSIWYG Web Builder 5 Default=True RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Pablo Software Solutions\WYSIWYG Web Builder 5\Settings\PublishLocationsYou might want to open regedit and navigate to that key just to make sure you wont lose anything you might want to keep. If you need any help with the ini file let me know. I'll look around and see if there is any more info I can find.

I'm no PC expert, but was intrigued to know whether you were actually able to access my PC remotely, or you had the progamme to hand to see how it finctioned. If the former were the case, should I need to tighten up on any security issues?
Many thanks for your prompt and most helpful advice - much appreciated.

Your most welcome!
Sadly... My knowledge comes from many days and nights behind this keyboard. No need to adjust your security. I just need another hobby is all. Actually I read some of the documentation of the program and used a search to gather more info.
But it sounds like your pretty much set. The registry path (should you need it in the future) for v6.x would simply be:
HKCU\Software\Pablo Software Solutions\WYSIWYG Web Builder 6\Settings\PublishLocations
