I don't get why people would want to pirate Windows 7 RC when they can get it for free and legally through Microsoft's own website. Makes no sense at all.

Before Windows officially released the Win7 RC download link from their site, people have been relying on torrent sites to get the leaked RC. Perhaps malware authors try to lure people who were not informed of the official download link from Microsoft.
Anyway though, I'll try it when I finally upgrade this aging computer. (AGP anyone?)
