my eyesight is limited and i find it difficult to tell the CCleaner icon from the Firefox icon on the taskbar. Mozilla probably won't change theirs, so I wonder if you could please change yours so it is noticeably different from Firefox.

It's a small thing, but it bugs me.

Thank you very much.

There is nothing wrong with the icon. You need to visit an opticion.

And you need to learn how to be more respectful.

Hi walterius, and welcome to Piriform.

You can change the shortcut icon of CCleaner or Firefox to anything you like to alleviate the problem.

Here's the Opera shortcut with a new icon as an example, as I don't have Firefox on my system.

You can google for different icons of each, just ensure they are .ico and not .png.

Simply right click the shortcut, select "properties" and then "change icon", and browse to where you have the new icon.

I did link you to some Opera icons until it was pointed out by a "kind" member, so here's some Firefox alternatives, which will probably be of more use. :)

Hope that helps.

Errm, Dennis maybe you need to get your eyes tested, walterius stated that Firefox and CCleaner had similar icons, not Opera and CCleaner, lol.

What I should do now is delete your post, edit my post and swear I knew nothing about it, but I'll just doctor my post instead.

Moderators prerogative. :)

I thought that was a nice touch as well, as I know you have a sense of humour. :D

I've always had a good sense of humour, but probably even more so now since I came close to losing my wife last December.

Lifes too short to be serious all the time.

I'm sorry if I touched a flame war. My vision really is limited and opticians (optometrists, ophthalmologists) are of no help. I really do need to replace the icon. I thank Dennis D for his suggestion, which had forgotten, and which I will implement.

Pax vobiscum.
