it's already in the program

As of the 2.17 (Haven't been able to get the 2.18 or 2.19 embedded ini) the entry is

[Quicktime Player]
LangSecRef=3023
Detect=HKLM\Software\Apple Computer, Inc.\QuickTime
Default=True
RegKey1=HKLM\Software\Apple Computer, Inc.\QuickTime\Recent Movies
FileKey1=%userprofile%|QTPlayerSession.xml
FileKey2=%appdata%\Apple Computer\QuickTime|QTPlayerSession.xml

[Quicktime Player Cache]
LangSecRef=3023
Detect=HKLM\Software\Apple Computer, Inc.\QuickTime
Default=True
FileKey1=%localappdata%\Apple Computer\QuickTime\downloads|*.*|RECURSE

Did you do a custom install and place it in a folder other than the =%localappdata%\Apple Computer\QuickTime\downloads that cleaner is looking for?
ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION
DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)
ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Hi - newbie here. I hope you can help me...
My problem is that I too want to uninstall quicktime, but each time I try, it fails...
My Quicktime is installed in c:\program files\quick time
The uninstll link in start\programs\quicktime\uninstall quicktime is a shortcut to:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\msiexec.exe /i {95A890AA-B3B1-44B6-9C18-A8F7AB3EE7FC} /qf
I wasn't sure what the {95A890AA-B3B1-44B6-9C18-A8F7AB3EE7FC} was - but I think it may have been the original install package? Not sure where that would be located, so did a search of the entire c drive - and no luck.

So...the uninstall fails...and the repair option doesn't fix the issue either...any suggestions?
