You only need one antivirus. Running two at one time not only kills your system performance but some antivirus don't play nicely together and can actually cause your system to crash.

do i use highjack this to fix it by seleting those two? after that what else should i do?

is that related to this? Btw before i send those 1st log file i had delete the whole Messenger directory. Beacause what iam using is Msn Messenger 7.0 and the directory for this file is Msn Messenger.

I had disable avg. will that be ok? but can i still use avg to scan for virus?
Can you also tell me what those two do?

I guess if you really wanted to, you could keep avg but its actually better to just use an online scanner. My favorite being trend micro's.

The processes are domain hijacks and should be removed. To remove them put a check mark in the box next to the entry and chooe "fix checked".

What program detected the Trojans? Did it say they were removed successfully?

Actually it was block by norton internet worm protection. The Program C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe was also block by my sygate firewall from sending.

But for the infection itself iam not sure how it get in. I dont have any idea. I just could feel that iam being attack because my pc will just reboot sometimes. but after removing the said file it didnt happen again.


By the way i fix the two reg entry w/ hijack. I scan it didnt see those two anymore. what else should i do? iam i safe now?

You should be alright now. If you think anything strange is happening or your pc is running slow or randomly connecting to the net then come back and post another log, and I will help you fix it again.

Another problem

The two entry that i fix with hijack is comming back. how can i find out which program o how it come back? so that i can avoid it.
