I have the Error Reporting service running on my comp and I think it is pretty useless, since I rarely have any program crashes, and I never report anything to Microsoft. Should I disable this service, or should I keep it on? What status should it be on? Like Auto, On Demand, or Disabled?

Up to you, but stopped, manual is my choice. Like you I would never faff about sending anything to M/S, if a progarm crashes it's usually my fault or cured by a reboot.
