corrupt and unreadable file

:( hi, could anyone please help, i have just started to run my cleaner and it popped up that a certain file was corrupt and unreadable. It told me to run chkdsk utility ????? Does anyone know what this means, thanks x

Click on your start menu. Open up Run. Type in chkdsk as it is spelled. Hit enter. Let it run.
