Windows chkdsk procedure

Hi

I`m having a problem with windows boot, every time it boots(three days by now), it goes through chkdsk procedure.
Any ideas as to why and how to get it fixed?( I have scanned the system for malware with no results)

Processor :AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual core 3800, 2009Mhz.
Mother board :Gygabyte M61 PM-S2
Ram :1GB
Disk space :149.05 GB
Default browser:Firefox
Protection :Avast,Sandboxie,Online Armor firewall.

Hi `hazelnut`, looks like the problem solved here, and it was due to an issue with Sandboxie`s last version :3.36, however, problem solved with author`s fix: 3.36.01 .
There is no way I would have suspected that it is a sandboxie`s issue, I thank you very much for your great help. ;)
