While running the free space wipe option a brief power outage occurred. Before running this, I had 100 Gb free on my HD, now I have less than 14 Gb. Now, I can't find a way to free up the other 86 Gb I used to have. Any solutions...other than formatting the C drive?

Please disregard my post. I found the overwrite file using an advanced search and deleted the file, which in turn free up my space again (whew!)

Can you tell us exactly how you did it?

This will help other users that are having the same problem.

I'm presumimg he is meaning the very, very large file in the root of C drive with the strange random lettered name created about the time the free space wipe was run.
