I am new to the board and had a question about registry cleaning. When I do clean the registry I check the back up option. Over a period of time, I have quite a few back-up entries. My question is: Once you check the back-up option and do the cleaning, can you then delete all the previous backed-up files. In other words, is there any reasons to have a list of the backed-up files, or do you just need the most recent one?

Thank You
Eric

You can keep the backup .REG files for a few days to several months, it's all up to you since most registry related issues aren't immediately noticed and may take days or weeks to discover an issue with a program or Windows.

If the backups are seemingly growing out of hand you can also zip them.
Complexity of incoherent design.
