Hey guys,
I'm kind of new here, but I have used CCleaner before well a few years ago. I haven't use it since when it crashed my computer, which I had to reboot it clean. I remember installing it and just cleaning the junk off it, I didn't even use the registry cleaner or anything else except the cleaning for the temporary stuff. After that it crashed when I restarted with BSOD. Since I know CCleaner is still around I might want to check it out again to see what it had done to change. I'm currently use Window Washer at the moment and it does the work, but I don't think it cleans everything as what I wanted. So my question is what is the best setting that doesn't harm your system. Any suggestion would help since I don't want to end up like last time since wiping the system clean is a pain and I know some of your guys know that.

You should be fine with the default settings on a fresh install, you may prefer to leave the advanced section alone (they are unchecked by default)
but I have always used them an never encountered a BSOD.
If you are still worried it may happen again, make a backup of your PC first (which you should be doing anyway
