Anyone a hobbiest who wouldn't mind providing me with a logo and maybe a fav icon? I am horrible with graphic design and would like to keep costs down! Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help.

I dabble in it.

Just message me and I can see what i can do. I grew up playing in DIY punk bands for a decade or more, and i took care of most if not all GD. Posters, stickers, album art etc. Havent done much lately, but again, message me and i may be able to help.

You can also look on all sorts of sites where logos, icons, and such are released as open source/GNU such as KDE-Look.org, however I'd still contact the author first to get the go ahead, and of course credit him/her.
Complexity of incoherent design.

There are quite a few talented people on my irc network, its one of the larger ones too, I'm sure I might be able to find someone. Whether or not they're willing to help is another story unfortunately, as the average user on this network is about 13 and obsessed with the online game Runescape. I'll ask around and point them towards this thread.

It is like someone saying "I feel unwell and had Syrup of Figs last night"
and passerby saying "Use some drain cleaner and you will feel different tomorrow"
