Hello,

I am using a Nikon P80 Digital camera and a PNY OPTIMA SD memory card.

I started using this camera in december and took several images and videos. Usually after copying the files to my laptop, i delete the files from memory card. I am not sure if i used to format the memory card or not.

Recently i took few videos and images (in february). i accidently deleted those files from the memory card. i haven't yet formatted the card. I was searching for a data recovery software, and i came to know about piriform. I attempted to recover the files i deleted in february using Recuva . but it is not showing this files i deleted in february. But it is showing up all the previous files.

Do i need to format the memory card to recover the deleted files. Please advice.
