Recently I installed a program. (actually it was Trillian IM client)
I just learned of a different IM client that seems to work better, so I uninstalled Trillian using the Windows tool. When I looked in the C:/programs folder, Trillian was still there.
I thought 'Let's try that powerful new tool -- CCleaner and blast that sucker out of there.'
Thinking that Trillian it might be incompletely removed, I installed it again. That way I could use CCleaner to do it properly. Guess what? In the C:/Programs folder -- Trillian is still there!
I don't want to delete the program manually because I don't want stray fragments laying around. I installed it as a unit and I want it gone as a unit.
What are your suggestions?
Thanks *very* much.

PS -- I did carefully read the Uninstaller FAQ and other threads. My solution isn't readily apparent to me.

Thanks for the welcome -- !
And thanks for the tip. It didn't occur to me to look at Trillian's site.
For the record, I replaced it with Pidgin. Seems to be working!
