Dao350.dll ...what?

Tried in the net ,guess did not get lucky enough...nothing that explains what function does the microsoft Dao350.dll have. Can any of you help me with this enigma?

I have a dao360.dll file (Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library) in the following location, and it could have something to do with MS Office, which I don't have. The DAO is Data Access Object.

Probably just one of the many mysterious MS files lurking deep within my PC.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO

Well Dao350.dll is used in older VB and maybe C++ databases so I don't know why its showing that. :huh:

I have dao360.dll on my system, so it's a newer version. According to the Wikipedia.org article located here allot of Microsoft programs rely upon Jet.
Complexity of incoherent design.
