With the last version of CCleaner, pressing the 'Run Cleaner' button, the program crashes.

The dialog report windows shows:

Window title: critical error
A critical error has occurred in CCleaner, the application must now close.
Error description:

Unknown Exception

CCleaner v2.17.853
MS Windows NT SP6
319MB RAM

Application::Run

Target system
Compaq Proliant with MS NT V.4.0 Server SP6 ENG

Note: the previous versions of CCleaner works fine on the same target system.

I found a partial solution to the problem:

Try to disable
1 . 'Temporary Internet files' cleaning option in 'Internet explorer' section
2. All 'Advanced' cleaning options

Program behavior remains anyway unpredictable.

Note: new released version 2.18.878 has the same problem.

The problem is still valid. No one has suggested a viable solution.
Obviously, the NT server operating system is obsolete and is not considered.
