As usual, please vote for a desktop other than your own. Makes it more interesting, and dare I say exciting. (Yes, I know, I should get out more).

This is a link to the February thread if you wish to check it out after it's unpinned.

At the moment Pixpipeline doesn't seem to be available.

Quite a few of us use, this so let's hope it's back up soon or the voting will be limited.

I had to stop using XS.to since for over a month now it gives some error page in Firefox when uploading an image.

When I re-read my 27 page acceptance speech it seemed not to say exactly what I wanted.

It was difficult to explain the overwhelming feeling I have got by knowing that 5 people in the world think mine was the best

World 6,764,314,288
05:49 GMT (EST+5) Mar 04, 2009

It took days of crayoning to produce my desktop, hours in which neighbours gladly gave their free time to do my washing, ironing and general housework. My husband did 2 straight weeks of nightshift to buy the crayons (tip here, look at their shares prices now)

Once the bandages had come off my fingers and I posted my desktop here, it was worth the pain, although I still cannot get the taste of crayon out of my mind.

To all my friends here, what can I say...

...I accept the award !! :)

I haven't been so excited since I was 7 and Miss Peters let me hand out the pencils at school. :)

It is truly an honour to accept this ccloscar

To everyone who voted for me (and even those who didn't)
