Before performing cleaner did you save your original settings? If you did go to documemts, or wherever you saved your settngs before cleaning. Open cc2009 and whatever date you did clean (0222) and restore.

I did a back-up and i went to documents and right clicked on merge, it said it was successful but still no address book. I have found the address book in .wab file but I am unable to import it. Any other ideas?

Can you open the .wab file by double-clicking it? If so try exporting it as a .CSV file

Still didn't work. I got this message "Address book failed to load. Outlook express is incorrectly configured reinstall.". How do I reinstall Outlook express?

Before you go down that road you could always try re-naming the .wab file to .wab.old and then opening Outlook Express to see if it will rebuild it.

Well I've been using CC and Outlook Express for two and half years and I've never lost my address book. Mind you I always backup my address book and emails on a flash drive. Can you find any *.wab files when you do a file search? Can you run Recuva to see if they have been deleted by something else? ;)
