As the topic i wrote,
recuva can't work in my laptop,
there no file appear [before i choose deep scan],
when i choose deep scan,
there wrote [ unable to read boot sector ],
so what can i do??
please help me!!

I get the same 'unable to read boot sector' notification when I try to scan/recover files from a corrupted SD card. What surprised me most was that I had already been able to see all of the thumbnails of the photos on the card when scanned by other file recovery apps.

... very frustrating!
