I recently installed and ran CCleaner. After that I realized I was no longer able to use my built in SanDisk card reader. I've looked online about this problem and found that some ([url="http://pressf1.co.nz/archive/index.php/t-54077.html%5B/url]) think CCleaner deletes an important component of my SD reader. Bad thing is I now cannot fix my reader now. I've tried system restore, but it won't restore. I've tried uninstalling drivers and re-installing them, but nothing seems to fix the reader.
Just be warned that if you use this (CCleaner) program you might lose the use of you SD reader.

Im thinking it must be something other than CC. If you uninstalled and re-installed the drivers that would mean any file(s) that was removed by CC was replaced. What did you clean in CC? Did you use the registry cleaner?
Ran a full scan, deleted what it found, couldn't use it (SD) afterwards. I remember some trackers showing up other than that I can't remember what else it found.

If you only ran the file cleaner, it should not have deleted any files required by the reader. Thats something a driver reinstall should have cured. It would have replaced any files removed by CC.
