Feature Request: Remove duplicate files

Could CCleaner (as part of freeing up disk space) scan the 'My Document' and Desktop folders (and possibly user specified folders) for duplicate Pictures, Videos, Music, Docs (or other user defined file extensions).

Removing duplicate files is a sure fire easy way of messing things up, especially if that ability was extended to system files.
Complexity of incoherent design.

Very true... which is why I suggested CCleaner scan 'My Documents' and Desktops only by default AND limited file types; with advanced option to add other locations for those that want that flexability.
