Today I installed the new version of Defraggler and it looks great but after trying it by analyzing drive and during I was looking at the map drive the computer is jittery like it is taking more cpu. Never noticed this before with older versions.

Any idea or does the new version take more cpu process.

I have 2 GB of RAM with duo 2 core and 2.3 GHZ process.

C2D 2.9G here.

Analyze is ok, but defrag does a significant slow down!!
Choose "background" priority.

I want to clearify my statement - The defraggler analyzing works fine same as usual but while in interactive mode where I can click a block to get more info on is where the computer does not seem stable (jitterey)

I have tried the option in settings to background in Priority and it seems a little better however when I close defraggler and than reopen the option background is set back to normal priority. It does not stay to the option I choose.
