iam new to defraggler..been using since last thursday. so i try it out by defragging local disk C ..ok, so i have lots of image files saved
but anyways, it took soo long, that even halfway through the process, i had to stop and resume next day. all-in-all it took about max 5 hours. isnt there a way to speed up the process? at this rate, i rather go back to the defrag option on my comp. iam using winvista sp1, home premmie edition
From my prespective, winvista club is a very good forum for all things windows related.
They have helped me and many others in the past. Excellent hints and advice!

Hello Xion44,
Welcome to the forums !!!
I love Defraggler.
Yes, there are much faster ways to use Defraggler.
You can just concentrate on your Images folder or files.
This is only necessary if you do a lot of changes frequently, otherwise Vista defragmenter should be sufficient.
Anyhow, bookmark this site for future use. docs.piriform.com

Congrats, you now have a fully defragmented and "optimized" drive.
Remember to check out all those "options" goodies etc. in the new documentation.

If the defragmentation lasts tooooooooo much and if I would advise you what to do .. I would say to move the whole folder manually to another drive, defrag the source and then move them back.
Do a test an tell us what is the result.
