If you monitor your software installations (ZSoft or Total Uninstall) -- and also monitor each subsequent update or upgrade, what uninstall sequence should be used? With either uninstall monitors, would you start uninstalling the most recent version and work back -- or the other way around? Or, is that not necessary at all if you just uninstall the most recent version of the software? Or, doesn't it matter either way?

I don't see how uninstalling in any chronological order would even matter to the uninstaller as it can and will only remove what it previously detected and logged.

Sure it could leave stuff behind between the various versions/updates however once you run every uninstall routine it has made for that particular application essentially there would be nothing left but random stuff the uninstaller knows nothing about such as; application data or randomly created registry keys.
Complexity of incoherent design.

Kind of what I was thinking, but thought I'd ask anyway.
