Is there any way I can uninstall Windows Messenger from my computer? The icon appears in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, but I can't find any way of uninstalling it - even using CCleaner.

launch the program and Tools -> Options.. -> Preferences
uncheck the checkbox for "Run Windows Messenger when Windows starts
this should do the trick... otherwise, you can disable it using any startup mananger and disable Windows messenger to run at startup...

If you ever do Remote Assistance, you'll need to have Windows Messenger.

If I needed it, would it be easy to install?
