When I try to Defragment any hard drive I get the message "Disk Fragment Could Not Start"
It also happens when I click Analyze when in the degragmenter

Also I can't run An Error check on any of my drives. I get the message - "Windows was unable to complete the disk check"

Here's my HiJackThis log

AVG 8 pulls up nothing
AdAware pulls up nothing
I can't run Spybot, it closes the second it opens.
Although it used to tell me a Start up reg key had been changed.

I'm thinking malware. My computer also tends to run extremely slow and random times and I can't figure out why.
Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

This is definitely not malware related

I woke up today to my desktop picture being gone and I had a fake spyware removal program telling me "Warning Security report! your computer is infected! its is recommended to start spyware cleaner tool"

spybot found a few things and got rid of them. I think I have some sort of downloader since I have no idea how those would show up randomly.

I ran an Adware also just in case but it crashes every time it gets to windows/temp/
I ran CCleaner with just temporary files checked but, it crashes
When I try to go into temp manually it closes...

I've now got an active desktop recovery, when I click the button it gives me a script error

it obviously doesn't matter what I click
