Hi lord-phoenix,
Welcome to the forums !!! :D
We are glad to hear how well your PC is working now.
Many users feel the same way.
CCleaner has historically been updated approximately once a month, so far.
There are many things to learn and do here on the forums to improve your PC use even more.
We are all excited about the new "Piriform Documentation" site. :P
Look here. http://docs.piriform.com/
Best wishes, :) davey

Welcome to Piriform lord-phoenix.

If you open CC you will see a web link on the botton right corner. If you click on the link it will tell you if there is an update available. If one is available and you decide to Run: rather that download you need to close CC because you can't overwrite a file thats being used.

There is an option when you install CC that says check for updates or notify on updates. I've never used this option no need. ;)
