Please forgive me if this question has been answered before. I have searched but not found an answer.
What I want to know is this - I have CCleaner (which by the way I am very pleased with) on my PC but it only seems to work on my account.
There is one other account on my PC, how can I get CCleaner to work on it too or do I have to have CCleaner downloaded for each individual account?

You can either sign in as the other account and it will clean their account or use RunAs and run it as their account (http://www.ss64.com/nt/runas.html)
ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION
DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)
ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Thank you for your answer, however I'm not exactly sure how to go about signing in as the other account. The only way I know to do that is to 'log on' to the other account and when I do that I don't have access to CCleaner on that account.
Could you please walk me through it!

As far as the Runas suggestion goes - I don't have a clue about that - I'm afraid my level of expertise on computers does not go that far. Sorry!

Hello Quicksilver,
Welcome to the forums !!! :D
What you want to do is put a copy of the CCleaner icon in the All Users\Desktop folder.

You can right click on the CCleaner icon on your Desktop and select Copy. Then navigate to this All Users location.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop

Right click on the empty space in the Window and select Paste. This will put the copy of the icon in the All Users\Desktop folder.
Each icon in the All Users\Desktop folder is put onto the Desktop of all users when they log-in.

The other users can then run CCleaner. If they are not an Administrator, they will not be able to do everything that an Administrator can do.

Davey

Thank you so much for this information. It was so easy to do and I will follow up on the other links you gave as I am willing to learn as much as I can as I don't like to be totally dependent on others all the time.
The forums are wonderful places and the help folks like you give is much appreciated. Thanks again
