i ran CCleaner a few times and backed up everything. seconds after using CCleaner internet explorer stopped working. it connected, but not displaying the web page. i went back and used the back ups, but to no avail. i think i ran the cleaner and deleted an important file, what should i do to fix this.

Hi trafficisgood,
Welcome to the forums. :D
If this is the first time that you used CCleaner, the first thing to do is a reboot.
This eliminates many reported problems.
If this does not work, what web page are you trying to open?
If you are a new user than you also want to save all required "cookies" and protect your "flash cookies".
