After running CC with the default items checked, my bank sites no longer "recognize" my computer. Is this a cookie thing or something else? Any way with settings I can prevent this.

Hello Norskey, and welcome to the forum.
This happened to my brother and it turned out to be a flash cookie.
DennisD explains it very well in this post.

Read the CCleaner guide to familiarize yourself with the program. See the link below.

Thanks! It may have been related, then, to my uninstalling/reinstalling Flash due to other issues. That may have wiped our these "flash cookies".
PS-FYI, some online Flash apps are not working now because the latest Flash is a 2-digit version number and it's messing them up. I've noticed it on two "disposable credit card number" apps (Citi and BofA). As always, they are "working on a fix".

Welcome from me also.
Thanks for your information.
Do you have a link to this "fix" and possibly a discussion of the problem.
I am sure that this will help many other members.
Best wishes,

I don't think they will post a "fix", only fix it online, so I'm just going to check it. I got the info by calling Citi Virtual Account tech support and they told me why it wasn't working. On the BofA tool (ShopSafe), it works online and displays the temp number, but the extra tool allowing you to drag and drop the account and exp date into your shopping site gives the same error message that Citi gave. I'll be they use the same code.
